The 3 diamond AA rated Aghnacarra Guest
House is an angler's dream. It stands in 2¾ acres with its own small lake which is home to wildfowl,
herons and swans, and is surrounded by fish-laden lakes and the fabulous
River Erne where some of Aghnacarra's regular guests have caught up to 400lb
of bream in a single session. Moreover, within a 5-mile radius are some of
the best fishing areas in Northern Ireland: Cornagrade, Broadmeadow, Belle
Isle, Trory, Derryadd Quay and New Bridges to mention just a few.
Another advantage of staying at Aghnacarra is that your host,
Dave Ensor is an avid coarse angler and matchman, and is always on hand to offer advice and tuition. In
the evening, after a good day's fishing, guests can relax
in the residents' bar, settle down in the spacious TV
lounge or enjoy a game of pool in the pool room. Evening
meals are available by prior arrangement. The 7
well-appointed bedrooms all have en suite facilities and hospitality
tray, and are pleasantly furnished and decorated in
traditional style. Enniskillen town, with its wide variety of shops
and craft outlets, lakeside theatre and National
Trust properties, is just 7 miles away. Other local
attractions include the world-famous Marble Arch Caves
and Florencecourt House.
