There's plenty to see and do in the area golf, river and sea fishing, hill and coastal walks, cycling, pony trekking, sandy beaches and lively traditional pubs. Cushendun itself is an appealing little village, notable for its unusual architecture much of which was created by Clough Williams-Ellis, best known for Portmeirion in Wales.
