This is a ladies boutique of quality and prestige, with a wide, seasonally changing display of garments aimed primarily at the over-40s, catering mainly for sizes 10 to 22. Popular, respected brands regularly in stock include Emreco - making waves with its bright colours, exuberance and vivacity since Emreco Coveri hit the headlines on the Milan catwalks in 1973; Oscar B - clear, contemporary style meets the highest standards of quality and fitting, feminine fashion with casual influences and important little details that surprise; and Adini, Marble and Viz a Viz - created in 1992 to fill the perceived gap in the ladies wear market for discerning women who want to wear fashion that is individual and feminine yet affordable. Silhouettes also stocks a selection of shoes, including the Lunar range (comfort, glitz and glamour) hats, jewellery and other accessories.

Part of the upstairs section of the boutique is given over to designing and making Yvonne's exclusive clothes, some produced for stock to display in the sales area, others made to individual orders from customers. Silhouette is open five days a week, closed Wednesday and Sunday.
